Up for sale, a Gibson Echoplex Digital Pro Plus rackmount effects unit in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with footswitch. The spiritual successor to the original Echoplex, the tube-driven tape echo offered by Maestro in the 1960s, this modern iteration of the same platform offers expanded tonal options and roadworthy reliability.

Now, the temperamental tape technology that was synonymous with the original Echoplex unit has been replaced by high-fidelity, utterly consistent digital technology. Not only does this result in increased sound quality and a significantly lower noise floor, but the flexibility afforded by the programmable digital control also makes possible a much wider range of performance options.

Originally produced with Oberheim in 1994, the Echoplex Digital Pro was later rebranded under the Gibson name in 2001. Sonically, the Echoplex Digital Pro delivers both instant gratification and incredible depth. Designed by musicians for musicians, the layout is intuitive and utilitarian yet offers an incredible array of options. The Echoplex can be used to record, sample, and play loops all in realtime, and the 16-bit digital 44.1kHz recording/sampling ensures professional quality playback. Cosmetically, the rack unit and footswitch are very clean with just a few light scuffs and scratches on the enclosure with clean graphics.
